Made in Spain since 1982 in a small family run factory near the wine region of La Rioja.
Made of all-natural material: 100% rubber, 100% cotton.

On the other hand, rubber, directly from rubber tree, is top quality as it is an essentialpart of the shoe which will let you walk comfortably and flexibly, all of those essentialitems for high-quality footwear manufacturing.
Machine washable! Perfect for every day wear, since you can toss them in the washingmachine if they get dirty.
Outsoles smell like berries! This natural scent is added to the rubber while they moldthe outsoles.
'Made in Green “certified - not made with any glue or chemicals.The ancient production system, revisited and enhanced by Cienta Shoes creators,consists essentially in the union of the two raw materials, cotton and rubber.
Manufactured by using heat and force of pressure. Such union is verified thanks to thepeculiar machinery, molds at an elevated temperature (170ºC/ 338ºF), on which rubberis placed to melt and then adhere to the cotton forming the shoe, exerting pressureover both.
Cienta's new shoe boxes are made of recycled cardboard.
The vulcanization process of the rubber sole ensures good grip on various surfaces andprovides superior elasticity. This allows for great bending when needed and at the sametime reverts to its original shape when the stress is released.
